THE MANDT SYSTEM® ( 2 Day Training)

The Mandt System® is a comprehensive, integrated approach to preventing, de-escalating, and if necessary, intervening when the behaviour of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others. The focus of The Mandt System® is on building healthy relationships between all the stakeholders in human service settings in order to facilitate the development of an organizational culture that provides the emotional, psychological, and physical safety needed in order to teach new behaviours to replace the behaviours that are labeled “challenging”.

"The Mandt System: A Game-Changer for Our Team and the Individuals We Support" "As a Program Director in a demanding healthcare environment, I've seen firsthand how quickly situations can escalate. Before we implemented The Mandt System training, our staff often felt overwhelmed and ill-equipped to handle challenging behaviours. We relied heavily on reactive measures, which, while sometimes necessary, often led to increased stress for both our team and the individuals in our care. The Mandt System has been an absolute game-changer. What truly sets it apart is its foundational emphasis on building positive, healthy relationships. It’s not just about crisis intervention; it's about prevention through understanding and respect. The training helped us shift our mindset from solely managing behaviours to truly supporting the person behind the behaviour. "
